Become a Member
If you would like to support us financially, you become a Friend! Your contribution will go directly toward the many ways we support Williamstown's David and Joyce Milne Public Library. The state, town and board of trustees pay for the day-to-day operations of the library. The Friends pay for media, improvements and programs. Volunteer with Us
The Friends seeks to reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. We welcome volunteers who bring a range of perspectives and experiences. Please join us!

DONATION CENTER: Do you love being around books? Help receive, sort and distribute book and media donations in the back of Milne Public Library (1095 Main Street). We sell these books at our bookstore and online. Hours and commitment are flexible and coincide with library hours.

BOOKSTORE: Would you enjoy interacting with our customers and sharing your love of books? We're often looking for help at Chapter Two Books on Spring Street. It is run and staffed completely by volunteers who work as cashiers and shop minders and help manage the store's book stock.

BEHIND THE SCENES: There are many ways to support the Friends programs. We are always looking for volunteers with bookkeeping, financial, technical, business, or creative skills or backgrounds.
